Web Content Coordinator

At Bellroy, we pour our heart and soul into designing products that delight our customers every day. And we work hard to make sure folks all around the world have the chance to experience that. We offer our products on our own website which is available in 9 languages, 13 currencies, and is supported by a custom-built logistics and payments workflow, as well as a growing component library. We strive constantly to improve customer experience by offering audience-specific personalisation and a program of A/B testing.

We’re looking for a web content coordinator to help support us during a rapid period of growth and help us continue to provide great experiences on our website. You’ll work in a cross-functional team, collecting all the necessary assets and data to bring our products to life on our website. You will also be responsible for publishing a range of other content optimisations which cover Search Engine Optimisation (SEO), content personalisation, conversion rate optimisation and more. A general understanding of CMS and website editing will be required but we’re happy to teach you the additional technical skills as long as this is a direction you are interested in taking your career in.

YOU COULD BE THE ONE IF YOU HAVE…

  • An interest in learning about SEO, user experience, web analytics, and the inner-workings of an e-commerce company. You might have recently graduated or have a couple of years of professional experience under your belt and looking to use your skills in a different way (we are open to a range of backgrounds).
  • Experience editing online content and a general understanding of content management systems. Technical experience using HTML, CSS, git, SQL, and other programming languages would be a plus.
  • The ability to communicate and work well with others, you’ll work cross-functionally with the creative, product, data, tech, and operations teams.
  • Plate-spinning magical powers (those plates might include working in several content and data git repositories, juggling the configuration of several product releases, overseeing the release of new pieces of copy for the website, working on processes to improve our release accuracy, and looking for the next opportunity to build our website’s SEO).
  • You have a growth mindset and are looking to further develop your skillset, but also to help create better team capability with your contribution. You embrace failure as a learning opportunity and work towards continuous improvement.
  • Possess strong problem-solving skills and are logical and careful when decision-making.
  • The desire to work for a company that cares about doing good things for the world.

IF YOU WERE HERE LAST WEEK, YOU MIGHT HAVE…

  • Launched a new product on our website and supported it with campaign content in collaboration with our in-house creative team.
  • Deployed an A/B test across our web platform to test a new hypothesis
  • Gathered copy from our creative team, and prepared the relevant files for import into our CMS
  • Liaised with various stakeholders to confirm the online merchandising approach for an upcoming new product release.
  • Conducted an SEO audit to ensure our key pages are optimising appropriately for our target keywords.
  • Audited key product pages to ensure they are using our most up-to-date templates from our component library.
  • Met with your manager for your weekly 1-1 and discussed a new concept you’ve been learning about or any roadblocks you need help with

La nostra sede principale sulla spiaggia si trova dietro gigantesche scogliere di arenaria, che si affacciano su una delle coste australiane più famose per il surf. È qui che i nostri Product Designer fanno le prove nel Maker Lab e il nostro team di vendita consuma quantità impressionanti di caffè e traffico internet su Skype. Qui siamo più tranquilli rispetto ai nostri vicini a Fitzroy e ci piace la concentrazione che si viene a creare. Se hai bisogno di un boccone c'è un bar proprio qui accanto e alle 11:00 controlliamo sempre se ci sono le condizioni per fare surf, l'occasione perfetta per rinfrescare la mente con un po' di aria salina.

I nostri locali di Fitzroy sono immersi nel cuore del centro creativo di Melbourne. È qui che i nostri team di creazione, di marketing, di ingegneria e di gestione operativa sviluppano campagne e si assicurano che ogni Bellroy venga spedito in modo sicuro in tutto il mondo. Appena fuori dalla porta troverai strade che scoppiano di energia (e il miglior negozio di ramen fuori da Tokyo). C'è anche una piscina olimpionica proprio dietro l'angolo, per chi ha bisogno di rinfrescarsi a mezzogiorno.
